Aerotek is hiring Heavy Equipment Detailer Technicians! $19-$21/HR with WEEKLY pay Shop located in Eighty Four, PAJob DescriptionThe Heavy Equipment Detailer / Washer Technician thoroughly cleans and details heavy construction equipment, trucks, and trailers so they are ready for field use, service, or inspection. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that involves working outdoors in and around large construction machinery while using pressure washers and other cleaning tools to maintain a clean, safe, and organized equipment yard.Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash and detail heavy construction equipment, including excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, skid steers, backhoes, trucks, and trailers.
• Use pressure washers and other cleaning equipment to remove mud, dirt, grease, and jobsite debris from equipment surfaces.
• Clean equipment exteriors, including tracks, undercarriages, buckets, wheels, and other components to a high standard.
• Clean equipment cabs and interiors as needed to ensure a presentable and safe operating environment.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance, inspection, or return to the field by ensuring it is properly cleaned and presentable.
• Perform basic visual inspections while cleaning equipment and report obvious damage, leaks, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain an organized and clean wash area and equipment yard, including proper storage of cleaning tools and materials.
• Follow company safety procedures and best practices when working around moving equipment and in the yard.
• Assist with basic yard duties as needed to support overall operations.

Essential Skills

• Experience washing or detailing heavy equipment, construction equipment, commercial trucks, or fleet vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to use pressure washers and other cleaning tools safely and effectively.
• Comfort working around large construction equipment in an active yard environment.
• Mechanical aptitude or being mechanically inclined is considered a plus.
• Ability to perform a physically demanding job, including standing, bending, climbing, and working outdoors for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in mud, dirt, grease, and varying weather conditions.
• Dependable transportation and strong, reliable attendance.
• Safety-minded approach with the ability to follow instructions and established procedures carefully.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous detailing experience with heavy equipment, construction machinery, or commercial vehicles.
• General familiarity with construction equipment types such as excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, skid steers, backhoes, trucks, and trailers.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure equipment is thoroughly cleaned and presentable.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members regarding equipment condition and maintenance concerns.
• Willingness to assist with general yard duties beyond washing and detailing when needed.

You regularly use pressure washers and other cleaning tools while working near moving equipment, following established safety procedures. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
