Job Title: CookJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled cook to join our team at a hospital in Beth Israel, MA. This role offers approximately 20 hours per week with shifts on Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The shifts run from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Monday and Thursday, and from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday. The position requires working every other weekend, with additional weekday shifts potentially available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and food-service standards.
• Assist with breakfast preparation and service.
• Operate the grill and prepare menu items as needed.
• Assist with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
• Perform light dishwashing and cleanup when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation and kitchen areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and healthcare facility procedures.
• Work effectively as part of the dietary/food service team.
• Complete other kitchen duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Basic cooking experience required.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous food service, cooking, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Healthcare food service experience is a plus, but not required.
