Job Title: TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking skilled technicians to join our construction team, responsible for installing various materials such as duct work, large walk-in freezers, grease hoods, cabinets, countertops, lighting, and wall panels. Candidates should possess mechanical aptitude and be able to effectively utilize power tools, basic tools, and read a tape measure up to 16ths of an inch. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of new construction experience and work collaboratively with a team of five in a new construction setting.Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction field by installing multiple materials including duct work, walk-in freezers, grease hoods, and more.
- Utilize different types of power tools and basic tools efficiently.
- Read and interpret tape measures accurately up to 16ths of an inch.
- Collaborate closely with a crew of five other individuals in new construction settings.
- Perform all aspects of construction including carpentry, HVAC, and flooring.
- Travel to and from projects, including overnight travel as necessary.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in the construction field.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Possession of personal power tools and basic tools.
- Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using various tools.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
