CNC Machinists & CNC Machine Operators Multiple Shifts (3- & 4-Day Work Weeks) Location: Thornton, CO Job Type: Full-timeBuild technology that matters. Aerotek is hiring CNC Machinists and CNC Machine Operators for a growing manufacturing company that supports projects including NASA MOXIE, a leading electric and autonomous vehicle OEM, and DOE clean energy initiatives ranging from nuclear fusion to ARPA-E.

Pay:

• CNC Machinist: $26 - $35/hr, depending on experience
• CNC Machine Operator: $22 - $26/hr, depending on experience
• 2nd shift: +$1.00/hour shift differential
• Weekend shift (days): +12% shift differential
• Weekend shift (nights): +15% shift differential

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: Monday Thursday, 5:30 AM 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM (+$1.00/hour differential)
• Weekend Day Shift: Friday Sunday, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM (+12% differential)
• Weekend Night Shift: Friday Sunday, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (+15% differential)

Experience & Education Required:

CNC Machinist

• Minimum 3 years setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes using conversational programming (required)
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings and edit programs
• Skill with calipers, micrometers and gauging

CNC Machine Operator

• 1 year operating a CNC mill (preferred), but also open to candidates with lathe experience
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
• Familiar with CNC mills, lathes and/or manual mills

Job Responsibilities:

CNC Machinist

• Set up and run CNC mills and/or lathes
• Make program adjustments and edits as needed
• Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine set-up and production methods
• Use inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers and various gauges
• Verify that finished first articles conform to specifications, and make the necessary adjustments

CNC Machine Operator

• Run a pre-programmed CNC machine
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment
• Make sure machined parts meet the criteria in work instructions and blueprints
• Use inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers and various gauges
