Cnc Machinist/programmer

Job Title: CNC Machinist ProgrammerEssential Skills

• Direct experience setting up and operating Haas CNC mills, including HAAS VF series machines.
• Hands-on CNC programming experience, including 5-axis CNC programming.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Fusion 360, including use of the HAAS-specific post processor.
• Experience working with FANUC controls on CNC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings, including working knowledge of GD&T.
• Skill in using standard measuring tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience operating custom CNC grinding machines and related grinding equipment.
• Ability to set and adjust machining parameters such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
• Competence in using edge finders, indicators, and probes to establish machine work offsets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in part production, part counting, and data entry.
• Capability to follow written instructions and detailed setup documentation.
• Mechanical aptitude to assist with final build and assembly of custom equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating cylindrical, surface, and pedestal grinders.
• Familiarity with a variety of hand tools commonly used in precision machining and assembly.
• Comfort working with custom CNC grinding and fabrication equipment designed for specialized applications such as saw and knife blades.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and identify causes of defects or equipment malfunctions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple jobs and maintain accurate records.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist in other areas of the shop as needed.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Red Lion, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.3 weeks of PTO accrued day 1!
