Mechanical Assembler - Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM // $25-29/hr Fountain Valley, CA | 1st Shift | Growing Start-Up EnvironmentAre you someone who enjoys working with your hands, reading blueprints, and building precision products that matter? • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components and subassemblies using engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Install hardware including screws, bolts, nuts, washers, bearings, brackets, and fittings.
• Use hand and power tools such as torque wrenches, torque drivers, drills, screwdrivers, and other assembly equipment.
• Perform drilling, fastening, alignment, fitting, and mechanical installation operations.
• Apply adhesives, lubricants, sealants, and thread-locking compounds as required.
• Inspect assemblies for quality, proper fit, alignment, torque, and workmanship.
• Measure and verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and manufacturing documentation throughout the assembly process.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small components and hardware.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Understanding of measurements, tolerances, and basic inspection techniques.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with torque-controlled tools is a plus.
