Automation Machine Operator

Job Title: Automation Machine OperatorJob DescriptionThis role focuses on operating, setting up, and maintaining terminal block automation machinery to support high-quality, efficient production. You will ensure machines run smoothly, products meet quality standards, and production data is accurately documented while following all safety procedures.Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate automated machines according to production specifications and work instructions.
• Monitor machine performance throughout the shift and adjust settings to maintain optimal operation and throughput.
• Inspect products regularly for quality, accuracy, and consistency during all stages of the production cycle.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues as they arise and resolve minor problems independently.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on automation machinery to prevent downtime and extend equipment life.
• Document production data, including output, machine performance metrics, and any issues or anomalies encountered.
• Use basic PC skills to enter production information, update logs, and access machine or process documentation.
• Interpret blueprints and production drawings to ensure proper setup and accurate product output.
• Support mechanical assembly and wiring tasks related to machine setup or production as needed.
• Perform soldering tasks when required to support production or assembly operations.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards at all times.
• Work independently during assigned shifts, managing machine operations and addressing minor issues without relying on maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and continuously improve processes.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience in machine operation in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience operating automation machinery is a strong advantage.
• Ability to set up and calibrate automated machines according to production specifications.
• Proficiency in monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation.
• Capability to troubleshoot and fix minor mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues without maintenance support.
• Experience performing inspections to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Basic PC skills for documenting production data and machine performance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with mechanical assembly and production processes.
• Familiarity with wiring tasks in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
• Soldering experience in a production or assembly environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across a full shift.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
