Assembler/molder

Job Title: Assembler/MolderJob DescriptionAs an Assembler/Molder, you will be responsible for creating products from one or several materials. This involves cutting specific amounts of mold, ensuring they are the proper weight as indicated on work orders, and warming the mold prior to installation into the molding machine or oven. You will also insert metal bases for the mold to cover and trace over, and ensure the finished mold meets quality standards.Responsibilities

• Cut specific amounts of mold and ensure they are the proper weight as per work orders.
• Warm molds before installation into the molding machine or oven.
• Insert metal bases and trace over them to form the desired shape.
• Ensure the quality of molds once out of the machine or oven.
• Use drills and hand tools to ensure the casting is fully out.

Essential Skills

• Mechanically inclined
• Driven, motivated, and reliable
• Good attitude
• At least 6 months of production experience in plastic and automation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with tooling, injection molding, and machine operating
• Experience with tool and die, stamping, and mold repair
• Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome
• Proactive and hardworking individuals are ideal

Safety equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection will be provided as needed. Work hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
