Assembler Job DescriptionThis role focuses on assembling glass panel doors with integrated blinds on a fast-paced production line. You will rotate through multiple stations each hour, learning and performing a variety of tasks that include preparing components, operating power tools, and ensuring the quality of finished products. The position offers structured training and clear processes, making it suitable for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
- Work on a moving assembly line to produce glass panel doors with blinds sealed between the panels.
- Rotate through multiple stations on the production line approximately every hour and quickly adapt to different tasks and workflows.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to assemble components while the product moves down the line.
- At Station 1, prepare and organize blinds for assembly, ensuring they are ready for integration into the glass panels.
- At Station 2, prepare and clean glass panels, wear required protective gear such as a hair net, and handle lightweight glass panels (around 2 pounds) with frequent lifting and twisting throughout the day.
- At Station 3, work with a partner to align and seal two glass panels together on the assembly line, use suction cups to position panels accurately, and send the assembled panels through the oven on the conveyor belt.
- At Station 4, remove glass panels from the oven, verify that they are fully sealed, and push them down the line; handle heavier panels (around 20 pounds) through twisting and pushing rather than lifting.
- At Station 5, continue moving the panels down the line while cleaning and inspecting them for quality and appearance.
- At Station 6, test the blinds to ensure they function correctly and meet quality standards before the product moves to the next stage.
- Follow all safety procedures when using tools, equipment, and machinery, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to keep the production line running smoothly and meet daily production goals.
- Participate in training on the first shift to learn all stations and processes before moving to the designated shift.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn new tasks and improve performance.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in mechanical or assembly work.
- Reliable work habits with a good attitude and willingness to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Willingness to train, learn new skills, and become proficient at each station on the line.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts, including training on first shift and subsequent assigned shift times.
