Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and work orders to ensure quality assembly processes. Working closely with your supervisor, you will follow detailed assembly procedures using hand tools and small machinery to build and pack parts, ensuring each product meets our high standards.Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to verify assembly process and quality requirements.
- Follow directions from supervisor to understand assembly procedures and production goals.
- Use hand tools and small machinery to assemble parts according to established procedures.
- Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers when necessary.
- Position, align, or adjust workpieces or parts to facilitate assembly.
- Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Pack finished parts for shipment, including labeling and bagging parts, adding corresponding instruction information, and placing bagged parts into boxes.
- Examine products to verify quality, including Bonnet to Body Testing and ECL testing.
- Identify quality issues, determine causes, and rework parts as necessary.
Essential Skills
- Experience in assembly and manufacturing.
- Proficiency with hand tools and small machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect products for quality.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours a day and lift up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent manual dexterity for grasping and manipulating objects.

The facility is clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes, safety vests, safety glasses, and ear plugs, all provided. Jewelry is not permitted, and shoulder-length hair must be tied back. Orientation is held every Monday from 7:15 am to 11:00 am, with work starting the following day. The first shift runs from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conover, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
