1st Shift Welder

Job Title: Flux Core/MIG Welder Pay: $26/hourShift: Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pmJob DescriptionThis role is a 1st shift welder position focused primarily on flux core and MIG welding, plate fitting, and fabrication work in an industrial furnace manufacturing environment. You will work with structural plate and steel parts, interpreting blueprints to fit and weld components used in large industrial furnace assemblies. The position calls for welders who already possess strong core welding and fitting skills, are eager to learn, and can reliably contribute to daily production after a short period of on-the-job training.Responsibilities

• Perform flux core welding on plate and occasional pipe components, ensuring high-quality welds that meet production standards.
• Carry out structural plate fitting, hand fitting (non-jig) of steel plates typically ranging from 1/4" to 3/4" thickness for furnace structures.
• Fabricate parts and assemblies according to detailed blueprints and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, including weld symbols, to fit steel parts accurately and tack weld components in preparation for final welding.

Essential Skills

• 23 years of flux core welding experience on pipe or plate, with the ability to produce consistent, quality welds.
• 23 years of fitting experience in a welding or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including weld symbols, and apply them accurately to fitting and welding tasks.
• Capability to tack weld components correctly based on blueprint specifications.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coraopolis, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
