1st Shift Machinist

Job Title: 1st Shift MachinistJob DescriptionThe role involves working on assembling conveyors. Initially, the position will be entry-level to ensure learning of each aspect of the role before progressing to direct assembly tasks. This includes running parts and familiarizing oneself with specific locations and tasks, such as building pallets. The candidate must be open to various aspects of the work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble conveyors and related components.
• Run parts to become familiar with the work environment and tasks.
• Build pallets as part of the initial training.
• Engage actively in learning all aspects of the role.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with CNC machines and editing.
• Proficiency using micrometers and calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing.
• Previous experience in metal fabrication is preferred but not required.
