Project Engineer

AECOM Technical Services, Inc., Project Engineer, New York, NY: Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams through the full project lifecycle, including scope development, design management, and design support services. Support the development and maintenance of WBS structures to align design delivery with technical assurance requirements and project milestones. Collaborate with the technical requirements register and design standards variances register, securing approvals from relevant authorities and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and agency policies. Identify and manage design risks and issues. Develop mitigation plans and support change identification. Assist with the compliance of safety programs that create a safe and healthy work environment through the job site and adhere to OSHA safety and record-keeping requirements. Ensure safety standards and requirements are adhered to by crafts/trades, laborers, and others in the assigned operational area, and ensure tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. Prepare reports and keep supervisors informed on the progress of overall assigned activities. Review construction methods, schedules, manning charts, materials, and equipment requirements. Ensure compliance with all internal and external record-keeping requirements, with particular emphasis on accurate, properly coded timecards and accurately coded, fully priced material delivery tickets. Use current construction management systems to perform recordkeeping tasks, including composing daily diaries, maintaining project logs, and retrieving RFIs, submittal logs, and agreements. Aid assigned contractors with scheduling issues. Monitor the project pre-plan, including a CPM schedule, work sequences, manpower utilization, material handling, storage requirements, and equipment use. Interface with the client, architect, and design professionals to ensure compliance with design intent and client satisfaction. Salary range: $131,830 - $149,809. Full Time.
