Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items to the highest quality standard
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Follow food storage procedures
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure resident satisfaction
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality, safety, and customer service

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Long Term Care kitchens
• Certificate or associate degree in culinary arts, cooking, or a related field
• Food handling certificate from your state and knowledge of geriatric diets
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Capacity to work in a team
