[DIRECT HIRE] TOOL & DIE TECHNICIAN | MANUFACTURING | KCMO |

1st Shift Opportunity where you will repair multi-cavity molds, oversee apprentices and perform other related tasks. Large manufacturer in KCMO.

• $34/hour base (up to $40/hour for top experience), plus shift differential (if applicable)

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain multi-cavity injection molds with hot runner systems.
• Analyze mold conditions, fabricate/repair parts using machine tools.
• Fit components to tight tolerances, read blueprints, oversee apprentices.
• Log repairs, ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Minor welding/fabrication
• Oversee Apprentices

Qualifications:

• High school diploma; 4-year apprenticeship + 4 years experience in tool/mold repair.
• Hot runners; .0005" tolerances; machine tools; 10-15 yrs typical.
• Knowledge of trigonometry, machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders).
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs; mandatory overtime.
