Mechanical Technician

Now Hiring a Mechanical Technician Location: Franklin, MA Pay Rate: Around $25/hour, with flexibility based on experience Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM-4:00 PM; Friday, 6:30 AM-10:30 AM Position Type: Temporary with potential for hire | Onsite Put your electro-mechanical assembly experience to work on advanced technology and robotics systems. We are hiring a Mechanical Technician to fabricate, assemble, test, and inspect complex electrical and mechanical products while ensuring they meet strict quality standards and customer requirements.

Job Duties

Assemble and inspect electrical and mechanical components using blueprints, schematics, drawings, and bills of material

Install and assemble a variety of electronic components

Perform manufacturing tasks using work instructions and engineering documentation

Safely operate hand tools, torque tools, measuring equipment, and soldering equipment

Perform hand soldering as needed

Follow applicable IPC-610/620 standards and manufacturing procedures

Complete accurate production and quality documentation

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation

Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet production schedules

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

2-5 years of manufacturing experience with electrical and mechanical assemblies

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions

Strong mechanical aptitude and basic shop math skills

Hand-soldering and J-STD-001 experience preferred

U.S. citizenship required for work on applicable systems
