Quality Control Inspector

Summary: This position maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and records quality results.Essential Functions: * Conduct in-process and final inspections on all products * Quarantine and release products from quarantine area * Ensure all parts and components have been inspected and measure within specifications/tolerances. * Initiate Non-Conformance reports as required. * Communicate with supervisors and other staff to resolve inspection questions. * Accurately document the results of the inspection * Read and interpret specifications and blue prints * Perform other duties as assigned * Ability to perform First Article inspectionQualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent * A minimum of three years Quality Control experience * Experience in a sheet metal environment a plus * Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Good Documentation Practices * Experience with blue print reading, GD&T * Computer Literate; Highly proficient in Excel * Experience with inspection equipment required * Self-starter with minimal supervision requirements * Able to work independently as well as in a team environment * Must be detail-oriented * Ability to communicate effectively with team members * Ability to work overtime as needed
