You communicate effectively, collaborate well with technical teams, and bring experience supporting semiconductor reliability, quality, or failure analysis activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, documentation, and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support semiconductor reliability and quality testing activities.
  • Perform visual inspection and evaluation of BGA package components.
  • Operate reliability stress equipment, including temperature cycle, humidity, and burn-in systems.
  • Load, unload, and monitor test samples throughout qualification activities.
  • Conduct CSAM analysis and support acoustic microscopy inspections.
  • Document test execution, results, and lot disposition activities in laboratory databases and travelers.
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and support reliability investigations.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working in a semiconductor reliability, quality, or failure analysis laboratory.
  • Hands-on experience operating Sonoscan D9600, Gen 7 CSAM, or similar acoustic microscopy equipment.
  • Familiarity with BGA package technologies and inspection methodologies.
  • Experience operating environmental stress equipment, including HTOL, temperature cycle, and humidity chambers.
  • Knowledge of laboratory documentation, test travelers, and data tracking systems.
  • Proficiency with common electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and data loggers.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, military training, and relevant semiconductor industry experience will also be considered.
