Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator helps keep Marketing, and Content teams aligned and projects moving forward. This role participates in meetings across all three teams, translates discussions into clear action items, and tracks project timelines, deliverables, and follow-up. Working closely with team leaders and project owners, the coordinator supports the timely execution of campaigns, promotions, website updates, and content initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities

• Serve as a central point of coordination between Ecommerce, Marketing, and Content to keep teams informed of priorities, deadlines, and project requirements.

• Attend recurring meetings for each team and shared project meetings; prepare agendas as needed, capture decisions, document action items and owners, and follow up on commitments.

• Maintain a shared project tracker and calendar showing assignments, milestones, dependencies, due dates, approvals, and project status.

• Coordinate project intake by gathering objectives, scope, required assets, deliverables, and target dates before work begins.

• Help plan and coordinate campaigns, promotions, product launches, website updates, and content production across teams.

• Track progress against agreed timelines, identify missing information or delays, and escalate roadblocks and competing priorities to the appropriate leader.

• Coordinate the flow of creative assets, product information, copy, and other materials between teams; maintain organized files and current versions.

• Route deliverables for review and approval and confirm feedback reaches the appropriate project owner.

• Help confirm project deliverables are complete, accurate, aligned with the approved brief, and ready for launch or publication.

• Provide regular project updates and maintain clear documentation of decisions, changes, and next steps.

• Support project wrap-ups by collecting results, documenting lessons learned, and recommending improvements to team communication and workflow.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.

• One to three years of experience in marketing coordination, project coordination, ecommerce support, or a related role preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadlines.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize meetings and communicate actionable next steps.

• Attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and confidence working with multiple teams and levels of leadership.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools; experience with project management platforms preferred.

• Familiarity with digital marketing, ecommerce, and content development workflows preferred.

• Interest in automotive products and the performance aftermarket is a plus.

Working Relationships and Accountability

This role coordinates work across teams and has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Department leaders and project owners retain responsibility for strategy, resource allocation, priorities, and final approvals. The coordinator makes project status visible, follows up on assigned work, and brings issues forward for timely decisions.

Measures of Success

• Project trackers and calendars remain accurate and current.

• Meetings produce clear decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines.

• Deliverables move through handoffs and approvals on schedule.

• Teams receive timely updates, and risks or delays are raised early.

Work Environment

Work includes regular computer use, virtual and in-person meetings, and collaboration across departments.
