- Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.34 per hour
- Travel Required: No
- Work Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medication reconciliation, and health history
- Accurately document patient information in EPIC
- Manage in-basket tasks, including patient messages, refill requests, and call routing
- Complete documentation and close encounters according to department workflows
- Maintain exam room cleanliness, stock supplies, and ensure infection control compliance
- Provide patient education within scope of practice
- Support patient flow by communicating effectively with providers and team members
- Assist with administrative duties, including scanning documents and completing prior authorization paperwork
- Set up and clean procedure rooms
- Assist providers during in-office procedures
Requirements
- Active MA-C or MA-R certification
- Previous Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting
- Experience taking vitals and rooming patients
- Strong documentation and electronic medical records experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
- Strong attendance and reliability
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Experience assisting with procedures and prior authorizations
- Strong patient service skills

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.34 per hour
