Adecco is currently hiring 2nd Shift Machine Operators in Southington, CT!

In this position, you will operate production equipment, monitor product quality, and help maintain efficient and safe manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and production equipment.

• Load and unload materials and components according to established procedures.

• Perform routine quality inspections on in-process and finished products.

• Follow production instructions, equipment procedures, and workplace safety requirements.

• Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical or production concerns.

• Complete required production documentation accurately.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Support daily production goals while maintaining established quality standards.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and supervisory personnel.

• Perform additional related manufacturing duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.

• Basic math and measurement skills necessary to perform production tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate production equipment.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation.

• Experience operating industrial machinery or production equipment.

• Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and safety procedures.

• Experience using basic measuring instruments or hand tools.

Work Environment

This position involves working in an active manufacturing environment.

Job duties may include:

• Standing and walking for extended periods during scheduled shifts.

• Handling, loading, and unloading production materials.

• Performing repetitive manufacturing tasks.

• Working near operating machinery and production equipment.

• Using required personal protective equipment and following established safety procedures.
