Forklift Operator - Mebane, NC

Adecco is hiring a Forklift Operator (Reach Truck) to support warehouse and production operations in Mebane, North Carolina. In this role, you'll safely load, unload, stage, and move materials using a reach truck and other powered industrial equipment to help keep production and shipping operations running efficiently. • Available Shifts
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | $22.00/hr
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | $23.65/hr
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule
• Mandatory overtime may be required
• Pay Range: $22.00-$23.65/hr (based on shift)

What You'll Do

• Operate a reach truck, forklift, manual and electric pallet jacks, electric dolly, and other material-handling equipment
• Transport materials between storage areas, production lines, loading docks, and designated warehouse locations
• Load and unload trucks while moving products safely and efficiently throughout the facility
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, and shelving systems
• Stage materials for production and warehouse operations, band skids, distribute materials, and assist with cleanup activities
• Secure loads using strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transport
• Follow all safety, housekeeping, security, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and ISO requirements
• Identify and report unsafe conditions and help maintain a safe work environment
• Support other warehouse and production activities as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Reach truck experience required
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 60 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and handle materials throughout the shift
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with others
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot forklift equipment issues
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with management information systems (MIS) and company intranet tools
• Familiarity with OSHA forklift safety regulations preferred
• Valid driver's license required

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.65 per hour
