Electrician - DIRECT HIRE

Adecco is hiring Electricians in Attleboro, MA! Job Title: Electrician Location: Attleboro, MA, 02763 Location Type: On-Site Pay: 35.00-45.00/hr

• Preferred Qualifications: PLC experience is a strong plus.
• Location Requirement: Candidates should generally reside within a 30-minute commute of our facility, as the Maintenance team participates in an on-call rotation and must be able to respond to call-ins in a timely manner.
• Candidate must have a clean shave, only mustaches are allowed.

Position Summary Responsible for repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing a variety of electrical and electronic equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

1. Knowledge & Education Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts Electrical License required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

2. Skills Requirements

• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages.
• Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

3. Experience Requirements

• Minimum of two years of industrial electrician experience required.
• Previous experience working with PLCs required.

4. Technical Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Proven electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret various electrical meters.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform basic electrical calculations.
• Ability to safely work from ladders at heights of up to 40 feet.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

5. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a variety of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Bend and install conduit, pull and terminate wiring, and replace motor starters.
• Overhaul relays, circuit breakers, electric power motors, and motor bearings.
• Identify and replace defective contactors and electronic control modules and components.
• Replace lighting fixtures, bulbs, and fuses.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and procedures.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
