CNC Machinist

Position Summary:

Adecco Staffing is hiring a 1st Shift CNC Machinist with potential for future growth in Lincoln, RI. We’re looking for an experienced machinist skilled in CNC setup and operation who takes pride in producing high-quality precision components. 1st Shift 7AM-3:30 PM Mon-Fri Starting Pay range $24-$28 depending on skill set and experience with potential for compnesation advancement based on performance .

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
• Modify machine offsets and make minor program edits as required.
• Maintain production records and quality documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required - technical training or machining certification preferred.
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferably CNC Mills and or Lathe machine operation
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment.
• Expereince performing machine set ups and or change overs preferred
• Experience with Mastercam, G-code programming, or CAD/CAM software is a plus but not required.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
