Tooling Manager

Lead a specialized tooling and manufacturing support team responsible for production tooling, process improvement, resource planning, and operational execution. This role oversees tooling projects from concept through production, manages priorities and budgets, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures the timely delivery of high-quality tooling solutions while promoting safety, performance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct tooling projects and manufacturing support activities to meet operational and production requirements.
• Prioritize workloads, allocate resources, and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve delivery objectives.
• Drive process improvements, problem-solving initiatives, and operational excellence efforts.
• Develop cost estimates, monitor budgets, and support capital planning activities.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Lead, coach, and develop technical and supervisory staff while fostering a positive safety culture.

Leadership Scope Provides overall leadership for a tooling and manufacturing support organization, including workforce planning, employee development, performance management, and departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4-10 years of experience in manufacturing, tooling, foundry, pattern shop, or related industrial operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling systems, and project coordination.
• CAD experience preferred.
• Exposure to molding, foundry operations, and CNC machining processes is highly desirable.

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
