Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to maintain and service two apartment communities. This position requires traveling between both locations to complete work orders, perform general repairs, troubleshoot maintenance issues, and ensure the properties remain safe and well-maintained.

Job Responsibilities

• Travel between two apartment communities to complete daily maintenance tasks.
• Repair leaking and running toilets, Fluidmaster components, sinks, faucets, and other plumbing issues.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and perform basic heating and cooling repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, repair light fixtures, and handle basic electrical issues.
• Perform general apartment repairs, including drywall, painting, doors, locks, and appliances.
• Complete vacant apartment make-readies and prepare units for new residents.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and emergency work orders.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable property grounds and common areas.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• General knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between two locations.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance duties.

Pay Details: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
