Original job description

Position: Field Operations Manager (remote)

  • Pay: $65K-70K per year + health, dental, vision and 401(k) match

WHO WE ARE:

We are fixing US healthcare by building an AI-native physical care platform. Roughly 40% of what home health spends goes to administrative work, not patient care. That is why agencies turn away patients they know they could help. We automate that work, with centralized support behind every branch, so clinical leaders can put their full focus where it matters most: clinical oversight, training and development, and the systems and behaviors that keep patients safe and out of the hospital. We have grown significantly over the past year and want someone who will join that growth and own the daily work of turning clinician capacity into completed visits. The people building our branches today will lead across regions as we scale.

In Houston, we show up for the patients nobody else will, and we own the outcome, not just the visit. If you want the hardest version of this work, with a team that won't let you fail quietly, this is the right place. We want a hungry, low-ego leader who shares credit, pitches in wherever the team needs it, and is good at solving hard problems with other people. The Job You're the heartbeat of the branch. Your work directly affects how many patients we can say yes to, and how much our clinicians like working here. Our AI takes a growing share of the admin work off your plate, and more of it every month. What it can't do is the heart of the job: knowing our clinicians personally and making the right patient-clinician match with human judgment.

You report directly to the Branch Director and work closely with the General Manager, running the branch's visit schedule. Houston is growing fast enough that your responsibility will grow with it.

What You Own:

  • Our patients. More than a name on a schedule: you know the care each one needs and which clinician should deliver it.
  • Our clinicians. Where they live, how far they'll drive, who wants extra visits, who's stretched too thin to say so.
  • The plan. The 8 a.m. schedule rarely survives the day. You adapt fast and escalate anything that could affect a patient's wellbeing.

What Great Looks Like:

You always find a way to get to yes, because the groundwork is already done: real relationships and favors banked before they're needed. The right matches keep utilization high, which keeps our clinicians well paid and happy to work here.

Who You Are:

ONE OF TWO PEOPLE

  • You schedule for a home health agency today. The morning board, the call-offs, the frequency math: you already live this job. Here it comes with a title that matches the work, a direct line to branch leadership instead of a back office, and AI that takes the data entry off your plate so you can spend your time on the part you're best at. Fluency in HCHB or a similar EMR is a running start.
  • You've run a complex operation somewhere else. A dispatch desk, a staffing board, a flight schedule, a military movement plan. We'll teach you home health; we can't teach the hard-won operating experience you'd bring.

Either way: you can call audibles without breaking the operation, and you spot risk hours before it becomes a crisis. You put technology to work, then verify it got done right.

BENEFITS

  • 401(k) + 401(k) matching
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Bonus opportunities
  • Referral program
