Travel Cold Storage Superintendent

Job Title: Travel Cold Storage SuperintendentJob DescriptionThe Travel Cold Storage Superintendent plays a pivotal role in supporting superintendents throughout all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout. This role involves assisting with schedule development, managing subcontractor bids, coordinating permits, and ensuring compliance with bond and insurance requirements. The superintendent will also participate in pre-construction meetings, support job site setup activities, and ensure document reviews, shop drawing approvals, and specification compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop and update project schedules using MS Project.
• Manage subcontractor bids, prequalifications, and scopes.
• Coordinate permits and ensure compliance with bond and insurance requirements.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and support job site setup activities.
• Support document reviews, shop drawing approvals, and specification compliance.
• Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
• Participate in regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy.
• Maintain project documentation using construction management software.
• Help manage material delivery schedules and submittal approval timelines.
• Assist with project closeout, punch list coordination, and warranty documentation.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 24 years of experience in commercial/industrial construction.
• Familiarity with project scheduling and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented mindset and collaborative spirit.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with construction management software such as CMiC or Viewpoint is a plus.

Work EnvironmentThe role involves participating in regular site visits to ensure project quality, safety, and accuracy. The superintendent will maintain project documentation using construction management software and help manage material delivery schedules and submittal approval timelines. The work environment requires a collaborative spirit and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety standards. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Wales, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $85.00/hr.
