Job Title: Project ManagerJob DescriptionThis role involves managing projects that support automotive manufacturing across various areas including the weld shop, assembly, paint, and Vehicle Quality (VQ). Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee automotive manufacturing projects in designated areas such as Weld or Assembly.
• Coordinate and collaborate with teams across different manufacturing areas to ensure project goals are met.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Smartsheet tools for project tracking and reporting.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate for each project phase.
• Participate in plant shutdowns, which are crucial periods for project work, providing additional support as needed.

Essential Skills

• Project management experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Smartsheet.
• Engineering or manufacturing background is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing, or general engineering.
• Familiarity with weld equipment and assembly processes.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in an engineering office with travel requirements varying by project, generally around 515%. Upcoming projects are expected to focus more heavily in the Southeast. The position requires 5 days onsite work with flexible start/end times, as long as the employee attends required meetings and completes their work. The work schedule is generally from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $45.00/hr.
