Project Manager

Overview

Manage geotechnical, environmental, facilities, or materials projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within scope, and on budget.Responsibilities

• Manage projects through completion, overseeing schedule, budget, and scope.
• Define project plans, deliverables, budgets, and timelines with clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate staff, subcontractors, vendors, and resources.
• Resolve project issues and mitigate risks.
• Lead client communication and provide project updates.
• Prepare and review technical reports and project documentation.
• Monitor project financials, including invoicing and change orders.
• Maintain safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Required Skills

• Project management experience
• Civil, environmental, geotechnical, or materials engineering experience
• Construction materials testing (soil, concrete, asphalt)
• Strong client-facing, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field
• 5+ years of related experience (or 9+ years without a degree)
• PE, PG, or similar professional registration preferred
• Experience managing geotechnical, environmental, facilities, or materials projects
• Valid driver's license may be required

Work Environment Combination of office and field work with occasional travel to project sites and client meetings. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
