Project Engineer

Job Title: Concrete Construction Project EngineerJob DescriptionThe role involves managing multiple concrete construction projects, including foundations, slabs, structural concrete, sitework, and flatwork. You will oversee the project lifecycle from estimating handoff through completion and closeout, ensuring successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concrete construction projects including foundations, slabs, structural concrete, sitework, and flatwork.
• Oversee the project lifecycle from estimating handoff through completion and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure execution aligns with plan.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure scope accuracy and compliance.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes.
• Track project costs and identify risks or cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead project meetings (internal, client, subcontractor) and provide consistent status updates.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and company procedures.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, and key stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• Project management experience in concrete construction.
• 3-8 years of concrete experience, including concrete pours, concrete slabs, rebar, and foundation work.
• Proficiency in handling change orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field.

Work EnvironmentWork hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The role offers long-term growth opportunities into a senior project management role. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Kearny, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
