The role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact on an established and diverse team, especially for someone who enjoys problem-solving, process improvement, and achieving clear project goals.

Responsibilities

Manage procurement and purchasing activities, including coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to align materials with project needs.
Coordinate supply chain activities to ensure materials and equipment are available when needed and aligned with project timelines.
Track project financials, including budgets and cost performance, and support adherence to financial targets.
Assist with budgeting, estimating, and cost tracking, including reviewing and supporting the approval of change orders.
Coordinate logistics and vendor communication to ensure timely material delivery to project sites or offsite facilities.
Assist with RFIs and submittals, ensuring accurate and timely documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Support schedule development and tracking using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
Interpret and review shop drawings to support construction sequencing and ensure alignment with design and field conditions.
Support construction sequencing, particularly for steel, mechanical, electrical, and heavy equipment scopes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and construction stakeholders, to streamline workflows and improve overall project efficiency.
Support project managers and field teams by preparing and maintaining technical documentation and reporting.
Assist with coordination of MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) and HVAC systems, especially in collaboration with major mechanical subcontractors.
Participate in commercial construction and data center project coordination, helping to resolve field issues and improve coordination among trades.
Identify opportunities to improve construction methods, processes, and coordination, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance efficiency and quality.
Communicate proactively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates, clarify expectations, and support timely decision-making.
Maintain a process-oriented approach, thinking in systems and dependencies to prevent conflicts and ensure smooth project execution.
Demonstrate accountability by taking ownership of assigned tasks and following through to completion.
Remain adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment, responding calmly and effectively to changing priorities and challenges.

Essential Skills

25 years of experience in construction or manufacturing environments.
Two or more years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction.
Proficiency with Navisworks for model review and coordination.
Proficiency with Bluebeam for document review, markup, and collaboration.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for tracking budgets, costs, and project data.
Experience using scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
Strong understanding of construction processes, including steel work, heavy equipment, and general construction sequencing.
Experience with purchasing coordination and material logistics in a construction or manufacturing context.
Experience working with or supporting major mechanical subcontractors, particularly on HVAC systems, is highly preferred.
Familiarity with financial oversight on projects, including budgeting, estimating, approving change orders, and cost tracking.
Experience with MEP coordination, including mechanical and electrical scopes, in commercial construction environments.
Ability to manage and coordinate change orders and project documentation.
Strong project coordination skills for commercial construction and data center projects.
Ability to interpret shop drawings and understand construction documents.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with project managers, field teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Demonstrated accountability and ownership of tasks, with proactive communication and follow-through.
Teachable mindset with a willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, processes, and project types.
Solid technical foundation in construction principles, methods, and tools.
Process-oriented thinking, with the ability to understand systems, dependencies, and coordination requirements across trades.
Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced environments, maintaining composure under pressure and shifting priorities.
Strong focus on efficiency, valuing progress and clarity over perfectionism while maintaining quality standards.
Curiosity and an innovative mindset, with a passion for improving construction methods and offsite manufacturing processes.
Interest or experience in large data center projects and complex mechanical and electrical systems.
Comfort working with diverse teams and stakeholders across office, offsite manufacturing, and field environments.
