Project Manager / Project Architect Location: Goshen, NY
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Architect to lead architectural projects from design through construction. This role will focus primarily on K12 educational, municipal, and institutional projects and requires a strong understanding of architectural design, construction documentation, and project coordination.The ideal candidate will have experience with NYSED projects, Revit, AutoCAD, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Lead and coordinate architects, designers, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Develop architectural designs and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Support NYSED submissions and Board of Education project requirements.
- Conduct field surveys and document existing building conditions.
- Interpret applicable New York State building codes and NYSED requirements.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and construction meetings.
- Oversee construction administration through project closeout.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Architecture.
- 710+ years of architectural experience preferred.
- Experience with K12 educational projects and NYSED requirements strongly preferred.
- Licensed Architect preferred; candidates working toward licensure will be considered.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience producing and coordinating construction documents.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Valid drivers license and ability to visit project sites.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Goshen, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $175000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
