Process Engineer

DescriptionThis position is responsible for optimizing the production systems, improving the process, and increasing productivity and lowering scrap rates. Develop formulations and pour patterns to meet production specifications2. Optimize chemical usage and minimize waste3. Sampling new programs4. Liaison with maintenance to solve/optimize process equipment issues. 5. Liaison with production and tooling to address RFT concerns6. Plan and execute process improvement experiments7. Responsible for the daily process operations8. Interface with customers, suppliers and other plants in respect to process related quality concerns9. Occasion travel 10. Occasion chemical unloading responsibilities11. Other duties as required12. Knowledge of Key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed KPI targets13. Understand lean and implement 5 S and kaizens within department14. Ensure good communication across shifts, departments15. Participate in problem solving, VSM, Kaizen projects 16. Audit for standard work, quality, understanding HSENice to Haves: Fanuc robot experience not necessary but if they have from internships- know how to work with siemens one code - troubleshoot or write form scratch 4 additional robots in particular cells has expanded and had aptitude on those system - basic operation of robots could get from RTCinitiative and drive - also brought to tabe to transition into the position.Collaborative learning - innate ability to bring their own skills sets - bring up other peopleExperience LevelEntry Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Tanner, AL.
