Job Title: Material TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Material Technician responsible for efficiently managing and organizing materials within the department. This role involves a variety of tasks, including routing materials, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting inventory accuracy through cycle counts. The candidate will also learn assembly duties when not engaged in material handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Route materials from receiving to appropriate areas within the department.
• Arrange stock efficiently for easy access and operational efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety rules and operate pallets jacks and other material moving tools.
• Perform cycle counts of materials to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Load and deliver unit set carts according to a daily build plan.
• Follow basic Kanban principles.
• Perform various shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, finished goods, and storekeeping duties as assigned.
• Participate in assembly learning tasks when not engaged in materials handling.

Essential Skills

• 0-1 years of related experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.
• Capability to lift materials up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to learn assembly tasks.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in Everett, WA, with work hours scheduled from 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Some flexibility in schedule may be required. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods and working with various material handling tools. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
