Medical Assistant

Pediatric Medical Assistant Job DescriptionSeeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents. This role focuses on back-office clinical support, patient preparation, and assisting providers with day-to-day pediatric care.Responsibilities

• Room pediatric patients and obtain/document vital signs, height, and weight.
• Prepare patients for exams, well-child visits, immunizations, and procedures.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, vaccinations, and patient care.
• Update medical histories, immunization records, and documentation in the EMR.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding appointments, instructions, and follow-up care.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked exam rooms.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant experience; pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working with infants, children, adolescents, and parents/guardians.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
• High School Diploma required.
