Mechanical Engineer (Hybrid Position)

Mechanical Engineer Location: Everett (Hybrid)Schedule: 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days RemoteJoin an innovative engineering team developing advanced electric propulsion and battery technology for next-generation aircraft. Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for electric propulsion systems
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and design documentation using SolidWorks
• Support product development from concept through production release
• Perform design trade studies and evaluate manufacturing approaches
• Develop technical reports, BOMs, assembly instructions, and test documentation
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Test teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Review test data and implement design improvements
• Support technical problem-solving and cross-functional engineering efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred (Aerospace Engineering will also be considered)
• 1-5 years of mechanical engineering experience preferred
• Strong SolidWorks skills
• Experience creating engineering drawings and supporting manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with PLM systems and engineering documentation
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Product release processes
• Aerospace products or aerospace standards
• Carbon fiber composites
• Battery systems or electric propulsion technologies
• CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, aluminum, or titanium components

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Everett, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $44.00 - $65.00/hr.
