Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob DescriptionThe engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing global laundry mechanical structures subsystem deliverables. This includes development, execution, verification, and validation, working alongside global cross-functional teams during various phases of projects and across multiple technologies such as structural mechanics, plastic design, sheet metal design, foam/rubber seals, rollers, bearings, and dynamics of the components.Responsibilities

• Develop and execute mechanical structures subsystem deliverables for global laundry units.
• Verify and validate mechanical structures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Engage in product development, ensuring seamless integration with structural mechanics and various design technologies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing effective project management skills.
• Facilitate effective communication across teams to ensure project alignment and success.

Essential Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Automobile Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in product development in a related field.
• 2+ years of project management experience, capable of managing multiple projects in parallel.
• Proficiency in CAD tools, specifically Creo.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Problem-solving approach with OPEX (Operational Excellence) or Six Sigma certification.
• Project Management certification (PMP) is an added advantage.
• Experience in the selection and application of materials for component design.
• Experience launching a product in the market.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Sound structural knowledge and hands-on experience in problem-solving.
• Team player with a result-oriented mindset.
