Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with significant experience in 3D Modeling and CAD. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining, including working with mills and lathes, and hold at least an Associate's Degree in a technical field.Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD design skills to develop and improve mechanical systems.
• Engage in machining processes using mills, lathes, and other equipment.
• Participate in machine design and manufacturing processes.
• Provide maintenance support for mechanical systems.
• Apply welding techniques as necessary for project completion.
• Manage projects and effectively communicate with customers to ensure successful project delivery.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in 3D Modeling and CAD design.
• Experience with machining processes (mills, lathes, etc.).
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a technical field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in machine design and manufacturing.
• Experience in maintenance and welding.
• Project management experience with customer communication.

Work EnvironmentThe position involves a dynamic work environment with 40% desk-based work and 60% floor-based activities. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Morristown, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
