Job Title: Architectural Job CaptainJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Architectural Job Captain who can independently support architectural production while coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines. This role requires an individual capable of demonstrating ownership of construction-document development, consultant coordination, building-design implementation, and project execution under the supervision of a licensed architect. Excellent communication skills are necessary, as the position involves frequent interaction with engineers, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders. This hands-on role provides technical leadership, project coordination, and production support alongside senior architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural projects from design development through construction documents.
• Assemble and coordinate multidisciplinary drawing sets for project planning, design development, detailing, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate directly with in-house engineers and external consultants.
• Develop and produce architectural deliverables in Revit.
• Review and incorporate markups, redlines, and project revisions.
• Support project startup tasks and technical project execution.
• Participate in project meetings, site investigations, and coordination efforts as required.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on Revit production experience.
• Strong construction document phase experience.
• Ability to coordinate and assemble complete drawing sets.
• Experience with multidisciplinary documentation and consultant integration.
• Strong verbal communication and project articulation skills.
• Ability to start projects with limited guidance and establish drawing standards.
• Understanding of building-code application and architectural detailing.

Work EnvironmentThis position offers immediate opportunities to contribute to newly awarded projects and work alongside architects, engineers, and in-house multidisciplinary teams. The environment is collaborative, valuing technical contribution and low-ego teamwork. The role requires periodic project travel and participation in site visits and workshops. The projects span various locations, including California, Nevada, Arizona, Oklahoma, and Hawaii. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Irvine, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58.00 - $72.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
