Fastener Technician

Position OverviewThe Electrical Technician will support the development,maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems used in Omni Instrument'sindustrial products and infrastructure. This is a hands-on, onsite role focusedon equipment prototyping, troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, and systemreliability.Working closely with engineering and operations teams, youwill assist with new equipment builds, electrical modifications, and ongoingsystem improvements while ensuring compliance with safety and qualitystandards.Responsibilities

• Prototype, assemble, and support electrical systems for industrial equipment and devices.
• Perform routine electrical maintenance and preventative maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
• Install, wire, test, and replace electrical components and assemblies.
• Support new equipment builds, system upgrades, and electrical modifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system changes.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial electrical equipment and systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals, circuits, wiring, and power distribution.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose faults efficiently.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with control panels, sensors, motors, instrumentation, and automation equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial control systems and electrical engineering principles is a plus.
• Technical certification, associate degree, or equivalent experience in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
