The position is ideal for a detail-driven technician with strong AutoCAD expertise, mechanical systems experience, and a background in engineering, building construction management, or facilities who is ready to take the next step in their career.Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated on-site CAD and facilities documentation resource at the Cordova, Illinois facility, present the majority of the work week (typically 45 days).
- Partner directly with the Plant Manager and facility stakeholders to assess existing facility conditions and ensure all CAD documentation accurately reflects current record conditions.
- Conduct field assessments of mechanical piping systems and other building systems, and translate findings into precise as-built CAD drawings.

- Draft and update documentation for mechanical systems and manufacturing-type systems, ensuring alignment with MEP code and design standards where applicable.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with internal facility stakeholders regarding documentation status, outstanding items, and project coordination needs.
- Support facilities maintenance and management activities by providing accurate drawings and records that enable efficient repair and modification work.
- Work collaboratively with other on-site employees to uphold rigorous quality standards across all facility documentation and records.
- Manage multiple documentation and facilities-related priorities concurrently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Contribute to a collaborative, feedback-driven environment by seeking out and responding well to direction and input from others.
