Electrical Engineer

Job Description: Electrical Engineer As an Electrical Engineer, you will work under the guidance of a senior engineer to provide technical design and construction documents for commercial building power, lighting and special systems. Typical work may include:

• Close coordination and collaboration with different design members within the company as well as architects, owners, and facilities staff outside the company.
• Assist in the initial concept planning and review of system options.
• Perform power and lighting load calculations using applicable computer software.
• Perform selective coordination, short circuit, and arc flash calculations using SKM software.
• Work closely with equipment vendors and manufacturers' representatives for selection and specification of appropriate equipment.
• Create highly coordinated construction documents using 3D Revit MEP.
• Construction administration responsibilities including submittal reviews, construction inspections and field troubleshooting.
• Participate in weekly internal department meetings to help establish company standards, training design guides, and learn from your peers in a proven educational format.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2-5 years' experience in electrical design.
