  • Create detailed technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and component specifications that clearly define design intent and support manufacturing and assembly.
  • Develop system integration documentation, user manuals, and support materials to guide installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to ensure designs support ease of assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Review customer Statements of Work (SOW) and assess their impact on system architecture, electrical design, and testing requirements.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute test procedures to verify that systems meet quality, performance, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Partner with other engineers, project managers, and customers to define requirements and deliver practical, innovative engineering solutions.
  • Provide expert electrical support during system integration activities and assist with customer service and field support as needed.
  • Prepare estimates for materials, labor, and schedule planning to support new proposals and ongoing project planning.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, reliability, and engineering processes.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant regulatory and quality standards in all design and documentation activities.
  • Participate and lead within the guidelines of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), contributing to a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical system issues, including hardware and hardware/software integration challenges.
  • Support harness design and integration activities to ensure robust, maintainable cable and wiring solutions.
