Electrical Designer

Description

We are seeking an Electrical Designer with Creo experience to support wiring harness development and vehicle integration projects. This role will be responsible for harness routing, packaging, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure designs meet performance, manufacturing, and serviceability requirements.

Responsibilities

-Create and update wiring harness routing layouts and related documentation using Creo. -Develop 3D models and drawings to support vehicle integration and electrical packaging requirements. -Route and package wiring harnesses within complex mechanical assemblies while accounting for clearance, accessibility, and serviceability. -Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and other stakeholders to resolve packaging and installation challenges. -Support engineering change requests, drawing releases, and product updates. -Ensure designs comply with company standards and customer requirements. -Identify and resolve fit, routing, interference, and manufacturability issues throughout the product development process.

-Proficiency with PTC Creo required. -Experience supporting wiring harness routing, electrical packaging, and vehicle integration projects. -Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. -Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. -Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, off-highway, marine, defense, or other transportation-related industries is a plus.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Oshkosh, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
