Controls Commissioning Technician

Job Title: Controls Commissioning TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Controls Commissioning Technicians to join our team in Manassas, VA. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the dynamic data center industry, moving from project to project for continuous work.Responsibilities

• Commission data center equipment with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot specific equipment for data centers, ensuring efficient operation.
• Collaborate with engineers for commissioning tasks.
• Conduct panel testing and point-to-point testing effectively.
• Handle PLC and SCADA system troubleshooting and modifications.
• Manage Ethernet communication, including switches, routers, and wiring connections.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in PLC knowledge.
• Proficiency in low voltage troubleshooting and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of signals and panels.
• Experience with Ethernet communication, including switches and routers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and program PLC and SCADA systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the automation industry is an advantage if not from a data center experience.
• Familiarity with HMI, Ignition, and SCADA systems.

Work EnvironmentWork is primarily based in a data center project located in Manassas, VA. The role involves traveling to various sites, offering a great opportunity to gain experience across multiple projects within the data center industry. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of West Chester, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
