Construction Project Engineer (6-Month Contract)

Job Description:We are seeking a construction professional to support a 6-month contract to build a large, high-end residential project consisting of multiple buildings and significant site work. This individual will work closely with the existing project team to assist with project coordination, field operations, subcontractor management, documentation, and day-to-day jobsite activities.Depending on experience, the role can be tailored toward either a Project Engineer/APM role focused on project documentation and coordination or an Assistant Superintendent role focused on field operations, trade coordination, and site supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a complex, fast-paced project while gaining exposure to both project management and field operations.Work Environment:

• 100% onsite at the project site in Cherry Creek
• Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Once a week, this individual will assist with site lock-up at 5:30 PM
• Weekend coverage may be required approximately once every 5 weeks depending on project needs

Responsibilities:

• Support project execution from ongoing construction through project completion
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation within Procore
• Review and navigate construction drawings across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other trades
• Assist with subcontractor and trade coordination
• Help ensure work is properly sequenced and scheduled
• Track project deliverables and documentation through completion
• Support field activities and onsite project coordination
• Assist with project scheduling and milestone tracking
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to keep work progressing efficiently
• For Superintendent-focused candidates: support field supervision, scheduling, trade coordination, and daily site operations
• For Project Engineer/APM-focused candidates: support project administration, documentation management, RFIs, submittals, and project controls

Qualifications:Must Have

• Experience as a Project Engineer, Superintendent, or similar construction role
• Strong Procore experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Understanding of construction processes, procedures, and trade coordination
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades

Nice to Have

• High-end residential or custom home construction experience
• Commercial construction experience
• Scheduling experience
• Site layout experience
• Experience with Asta Powerproject
• Previous experience supporting large, multi-building construction projects

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
