Cleanroom Technician

Job Title: Cleanroom Validation SpecialistJob DescriptionThe role involves working in the cleanroom during the startup and commissioning phase of a pharmaceutical or biotech facility. This is crucial for validation, testing, and training before actual manufacturing can begin. The position requires ensuring that the facility's filtration systems maintain sterility even when fully staffed, complying with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct smoke studies to visualize airflow patterns in cleanroom environments.
• Perform obstruction mapping to test airflow under dynamic conditions with personnel present.
• Ensure human movement does not create dead zones or pull contaminated air over sterile areas.
• Support validation, testing, and training processes in the cleanroom.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in cleanroom protocols and gowning procedures.
• Experience in working within GMP environments.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and aseptic manufacturing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industries.
• Understanding of laboratory and manufacturing support processes.
• Ability to work in a BLS-2 manufacturing suite and lab environment.

Work EnvironmentThe role requires working within a GMP cleanroom environment, including gowning procedures and aseptic techniques. The manufacturing suite and labs are classified as BLS-2, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
