- Create and modify drawings using BIM and CAD software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related tools.
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical conduit routing and declashing models, ensuring accurate coordination with other trades.
- Use the command language of the drafting and BIM systems to create quick actions and efficiencies that support drawing creation and modification.
- Apply mathematical concepts to prepare precise drawings, dimensions, and layouts for electrical systems.
- Review work orders, specifications, and procedural manuals to determine critical design dimensions and requirements.
- Calculate and convert design dimensions into resizing dimensions for subsequent production processes using conversion charts and calculators.
- Increase proficiency in system operation and software features, continuously improving productivity and leveraging all relevant software options.
- Create Revit worksheets and participate in Revit worksharing processes to support coordinated project delivery.
- Manipulate Revit families, views, browser structures, sheets, schedules, filters, and related functions to produce complete and accurate drawing sets.
- Work fluently in both 2D and 3D environments to support design, detailing, and coordination activities.
- Coordinate 3D models with other trades, identifying and helping resolve clashes and conflicts in the virtual environment.
- Receive, organize, and transmit project documents and models on behalf of the design and construction teams.
- Operate plotters, printers, and reproduction systems to produce drawing sets and documentation for in-house and job site use.
- Import external documents such as spreadsheets, photos, images, and word processing files into Revit projects as needed.
- Read and interpret 2D plans in both electronic and hard copy formats to support modeling and drafting tasks.
- Prepare copies and assemble sets of drawings and documents for distribution to project stakeholders.

- Ability to create Revit worksheets and understand the Revit worksharing process.
- Ability to take verbal and general written direction and translate it into accurate, constructible shop drawings.
- Ability to manipulate Revit families, views, browser structures, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar Revit functions.
- Fluency working in both 2D and 3D drafting and modeling environments.
- Understanding of 3D coordination with other trades and the ability to support clash detection and resolution.
- Ability to receive, organize, and transmit documents and models on behalf of the design team.
- Proficiency using plotters, printers, and reproduction systems commonly used in office and job site environments.
