Job Title: Architectural Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and skilled Architect to join our team. You will be working on multiple multi-family and retail fit-out projects, collaborating closely with project managers and partners. Responsibilities
- Utilize Revit for 80% and AutoCAD for 20% of project work.
- Work through all project phases from initial design to construction documents and administration.
- Engage in design development and creation of construction drawings.
- Conduct project site planning, zoning, and local code analysis.
- Perform building code analysis and application.
- Design and detail architectural systems and components.
- Interpret drawings, technical documents, schematics, and reports.
- Attend meetings with clients, owners, and consultants as needed.
- Assist in developing technical documentation, proposals, and presentations.
- Coordinate project designs with other disciplines.
- Engage in in-house engineering design and drawing activities.
- Communicate design requirements with contractors and clients.
- Conduct project job site visits to monitor progress and compliance.
- Participate in in-house training sessions for technical knowledge.
Essential Skills
- 2-5 years of architecture experience.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience interacting with clients and contractors.
- Strong project management and drafting skills.
- Knowledge of construction documents and drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with building codes, standards, and construction materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Architecture.
- Experience with mixed-use and multi-family projects is a plus.
- Ability to manage junior staff and project teams.
- Leadership abilities and the ability to manage team assignments.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Livingston, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
